Between working, school, and sheer laziness on my behalf, I have not had a chance to update the site in a while. I swear by the end of the month I will have some movie reviews or something.
I am also planning on adding some more of my writing as well as a few other works of art. Depending on how much homework I end up with this week, I should have these things up by at least Sunday night. Hopefully.

Melanie and I have come to a new found conclusion. The newly opened thrift store located where the old Hobby Lobby used to be on HWY 6 is extremely depressing. It was expensive for a run-of-the-mill thrift store. If I wanted to pay $15.00 for a pair of jeans I would have just gone to Target or Walmart.
The whole atmosphere was just too chaotic. It really made me miss everything about Value Village. I miss the affordable/extremely cheap prices, the stench of urine, the ridiculous clothing, and all of the memories.

I finally recieved my tickets to see Dragonforce on August 18th in the mail yesterday! Not only am I going to be seeing one of the most awesome bands in the world on the 18th, but Snakes on a Plane is also due for release that day as well. So I am pretty much getting a two for one special. I am almost excited enough to pee my pants.

Waiting in long lines is not what I would call exciting, unless of course you have your friends along with you and everyone manages to entertain one another. Still, long lines are irritating, especially after waiting in about six of them at Lobo Express yesterday. Who knew getting a temporary school schedule and a few textbooks would be such a hassle.
I recieved my schedule, and as usual, it has flaws. I was supposed to be in yearbook, but apparently.. I am not.
1st Period: Auto Tech I
2nd Period: Auto Tech I
3rd Period: German V K
4th Period: Anatomy & Physiology
5th Period: U.S. Government
6th Period: English IV
Seniors do not have lockers this year, we have to request them. What is worse is we are having to pay out the ass just to have a parking space, at least we were able to pick our spaces. I managed to obtain parking spot #666. How funny is that!?

Gimzie.com now has a few of my written works posted on the site once again. I am hoping that within the next two days I will be able to have my artwork back on display again. Now that I have my site running off of PHP, I think things will become a little easier to update from now on. I know I am behind the times, but hey.. at least I am getting there.
With school coming up soon, things will probably be getting a little chaotic. Which means, I may not be able to update Gimzie.com on a daily basis for a while. However, I am still planning on updating as often as I can.

I am still working out a few kinks with the new layout. I would have had more time to gradually change the site into its new design but due to a server crashing and losing all of my data, I am having to start from scratch once again. Hopefully soon everything on Gimzie.com will be back to normal. I am hoping that by the end of the week I will find some free time to restore some of the site’s old content.

I need a job. I need money.
Why is it that so many other people around here have been offered jobs left and right while I am still sitting on the porch circling ads in the classifieds section of the newspaper? It feels like I am never going to find a decent source of income. I think I may have literally applied everywhere in my area by now, and still, no replies.
